At 45 years old, I’m a husband and father of two young children, continuing a faith journey that began in earnest at the age of 19. After a turbulent teenage season, I committed my life to the Messiah and was baptised into Claremont Baptist Church. Eager to serve, I joined Youth With A Mission's youth ministry following a six-month Young People’s Discipleship course. However, my time in formal ministry was brief—just two days—yet it marked a turning point that set my heart ablaze for deeper truth and authentic discipleship. Over time, I grew dissatisfied with mainstream Baptist teachings and began seeking out other expressions of faith. I explored Pentecostal fellowships, Churches of Christ, and various independent and remote Christian communities. My spiritual path took another turn after marrying a woman from the Revival Fellowship, where I was introduced more deeply to the operation of spiritual gifts—especially the practice of speaking in tongues, which was emphasized in a structured and orderly manner. A major shift occurred when I discovered 119 Ministries’ Pauline Series. It challenged the prevailing interpretation of Paul’s letters—particularly the notion that his writings nullify the Law and the Commandments. What I uncovered was a misrepresentation of Paul, whose teachings had too often been twisted to justify setting aside Torah. This revelation propelled me into a re-examination of Scripture, including so-called "forbidden texts," with renewed focus on Shabbat, the Biblical Feasts, and the Scriptural Calendar. Though this study brought much personal conviction and clarity, it also led to friction—both within and outside the Church. Nevertheless, I’ve continued pressing on. In recent months, I’ve been connecting weekly with Matthew 77 Ministries online for Shabbat readings and Paleo-Hebrew studies. Most recently, I’ve begun following Prophetic Ministries on YouTube, with a special interest in their teachings on Precepts, Biblical Marriage, and Divorce. My walk today is marked by a desire to return to the ancient paths, grounded in truth, obedience, and an ever-deepening relationship with the Most High.
